About Me.

I am a PhD candidate at Centre for Computational and Data Sciences, IIT Kharagpur working in Secured Embedded Architecture (SEAL) Lab  under the guidance of Prof. Debdeep Mukhopadhyay and Prof. Pabitra Mitra. My primary research focus is on the intersection of machine learning (ML), security, and privacy. I work towards understanding the vulnerabilities and limitations of ML models in the context of microarchitectural attacks, which leverage hardware components' behaviour to compromise sensitive information. Additionally, I'm also exploring the unique security issues that arise in ML frameworks operating on GPU platforms, focusing on identifying and addressing vulnerabilities inherent to these highly parallel and high-performance computing architectures. Lastly, I am also involved in crafting defenses against adversarial attacks, concentrating on developing training techniques that enhance the robustness of models against such threats.

Prof. Prabhakar TV

Project Engineer

  • Worked on building a web application on Drupal CMS to analyze performance of various translation APIs from Google, Microsoft, IBM, and others.

May 2018 to July 2018

Computer Science and Engineering Department, IIT Kanpur

Prof. Harish Karnick

Research Intern

  • Conducted analysis on various features such as Mel-Frequency Cepstral Coefficients (MFCC), Signal Energy, Spectral Density, and Entropy to construct feature vectors, facilitating the development of highly accurate predictive ML/DL models for Emotion Classification.

May 2016 to July 2016

Computer Science and Engineering Department, IIT Kanpur

Prof. Manindra Aggrawal

Summer Intern

  • Contributed to the expansion of the cloud computing infrastructure at CSE, IIT Kanpur. Installed and configured compute nodes, wrote diagnostic tools using shell scripts for regular checkups and load status checks, updating and correcting of controller and compute node scripts.
